I'm rather particular when I make tea. I always heat up the teapot with
hot water before preparing the tea and likewise with the teacups before
pouring. Tepid tea is anathema to me. My tea is always steaming hot so
care is advisable when drinking. If it is not taken with milk then it
would be wise to wait before drinking. Under no circumstances should it
be poured on the saucer, blown upon and sipped. Like I have said, I am a
very tolerant person and wouldn't mind in the least, but the missus is a
bit of a stickler for etiquette and would take exception.

Coffee is great, you can't beat freshly ground percolated coffee to start
the day with. Many cups per day vanish down my throat, but in the
evenings I'm definitely a tea man.

I've tasted some crap coffee in my long life, Starbucks is amongst the
worst, but even that isn't real shit like Civet coffee. I suppose it's
the delicate aroma of cat turd that gives it its special flavour. That
coffee is not my cup of tea.

Probably desperate for a cup of coffee. I can understand that. If you
