Something old, ain't always something new.

I wonder what the CO² levels were in 1500. After all, we ALL know that
400ppm of atmospheric CO², is the ONLY variable that causes hurricanes.

So... ALL of these hurricanes were weaker than they are now? Riiiiiight.

These are just those "reported".

Something old, ain't always something new.
In all seriousness, last night, sitting on the couch,
my room mate was online and I wish I had thought to
ask him what he was reading but, he suddenly blurts
out that Florence will be the first Cat 4 hurricane
"In history" to strike this far north. I knew right
away that was wrong, that a Cat 5 had reached New
England back in the 30s but "Global Warming" needs
unprecedented climate events, even if none exist.

Try Cat 3: "The hurricane made landfall at Bellport on Long Island's Suffolk
County sometime between 2:10 pm and 2:40 pm as a Category 3 hurricane, with
sustained winds of 120 mph. It made a second landfall as a Category 3
hurricane somewhere between Bridgeport and New Haven, Connecticut at around
4:00 pm, with sustained winds of 115 mph."

What about “Hazel” back in 1954 ? ? It even made it up to Toronto, Canada. Killing people up there, after it finished with the east U.S.
