Go to church

That still small voice you hear on the inside, the one drawing you from
within, reminding you of the things you should be doing, and pointing
out the things you shouldn't be doing ... listen to it. That voice was
put there by God to guide you into all rightness, and away from
everything wrong, hurtful and harmful (to yourself and others).

Even though you've done hurtful and harmful things to others, God
still wants to forgive you. He still loves you. He still wants to turn
your life around and give it to Him, to follow after the works of
truth and light, rather than pursuits of self-interest in darkness.

We all need each other. We need to help each other become the
full and rich people we can be. And we need God to help us overcome
those things we cannot overcome on our own.

Go to church each week. Learn about Jesus Christ. Learn what it
means to seek after and pursue that still, small voice on the inside,
rather than continuing to drown it out with other things, ignoring
it hoping it will go away.

This is your time to step forward in faith, to take heed of His inner call,
to answer that call and pursue Him to that end He has for you, even
forgiveness of your sin, and eternal life in Heaven in a body like
the angels, beautiful, young, and strong.

A life you never imagined awaits you in pursuit of Him. He redeems
you and restores you to life (spiritual life), such that new things
abound within your new man existence. It is absolutely beyond that
which you could imagine, because it's all completely new, through
the new man nature, and the new life after the spirit.

God loves you, and will forgive you. Just ask Him to forgive you
from where you are. He does the rest. And then make the real
conscious choice to listen to that inner voice, to go to church, to say
no to sin in your life, and yes to holiness and pursuits by which
you help others.

We have weaknesses as individuals, but we are strong together. Go
to church and be part of that community of strength, remembering
that the same enemy at work out here in the world, also tries with
extra effort to gain footholds in the church. You must maintain your
integrity and focus on Him first, and other things second, and then
also teach and gently remind those in the church the same.
Lead them continually back to where they should be, as He leads
you from within.

Don't be prideful in your new faith. Remember from where you cane
and help others to come to forgiveness in Jesus in the like manner He
forgave you, by having heard this message by spreading it and by
teaching people about Him.

We need Him in our lives. First, and out front. He is our Redeemer.
Our Salvation. Our Guide. Our Teacher. And Je is also our Friend.

Never let the enemy's lies convince you ahead of the truth. Remain
in Him, focused, and teaching and rebuking, being ready to also be
rebuked should you open your mouth and teach something falsely in
ignorance. He gently guides all of us down the straight and narrow
path. Because He loves us.

Love you,
Rick C. Hodgin

PS - For those who hear His call and know what I'm talking about,
welcome. The Kingdom of God awaits you. May you serve Him
always in honest integrity, with a right mind and focus on leading
more people to His Son Jesus, so they can also be forgiven and
be saved. Always done in much peace and much love.

lol. Imagine going to a church, and seeing the following construct up on
a wall:

void main { ... }

represented as a deceptive manifestation of the devil itself trying to
lead programmers astray, down to the dark side. Sometimes, the devil
reminds me of the Cruel Puppet in Zork:

https://www.thezorklibrary.com/history/cruel_puppet.html
________________________________
CRUEL PUPPET

Few creatures are more despised than the cruel puppet, one which uses
its power not for good, evil or profit, but simply to hurt people's
feelings. Staunch monarchs have been reduced to tears by these merciless
shapeshifters; for it attacks by twisting itself into unflattering
caricatures of its opponents, accompanied by jeers, rude noises and
shocking accusations--which include the recital of nightly personal
habits in excruciating detail, accusing its adversary's mother of
shocking improprieties, reminding of weight gain, etc. They have also
been known to practice existential put downs. "You're so ugly you're
probably the creation of an unseen master who is controlling and shaping
the world around you. Nothing is real and nothing you do will have any
lasting effect on those around you. Welcome to the dark night of your
soul" is but one example. More often, however, they just insult your
knees. Insulting the cruel puppet in return is futile, for it feeds off
of them. Straining to ignore these verbal attacks is the only known
defense.

Residents of Gurth City were warned during the mid-tenth century to keep
away from the Forest of Youth, as it was known home to cruel puppets.

During the Great Monster Uprising of the Second Age of Magic, cruel
puppets were reported in the following regions: The abandoned Casino of
Port Foozle, The Southern Wastes, The Coast Road near Borphee, Pheebor,
Forest of Youth, Gurth Woodland Trail, the Lost Castle of Y'Syska, Crab
Island, Egreth Castle, The Glass Maze, Bozbarland, Largoneth Castle, and
the G.U.E. Tech Training Grounds in the Ethereal Plane of Atrii. Many
perched in trees and other high and covert corners, raining handfuls of
exploding chestnuts down upon luckless adventurers.

Of course that's evil. Just ask any of the regular C gurus here.
main() should always return int, and if you are pursing the truth
you should then you must ask yourself which truth? The C Standard?
Or your compiler's abilities (as many compile void main(void) just
fine).

In any event, I offer to teach classes on programming regularly, and
have for years. I haven't had many takers. And most of them were
more interested in learning Word and Excel than anything related to
programming, let alone C programming.

Yes, "which truth". Why is yours *the* truth?

My "truth" is that I work in the POSIX world, so things like
open/read/write/close are not "evil". I also work in both the Windows and
*nix worlds, so there are times I need O/S-specific code, and things like
"read a single keystroke, without echo" are allowed.

However, I also don't ask questions on how to do these things here.

Yes, "which truth". Why is yours *the* truth?
Well, the truth is fundamental. It always only speaks with one voice.
"How old are you?" There is only one correct answer that questions,
but many false answers.

I profess that Jesus is truth, which is also what He professed (in
John 14:6). And I ask you to verify if what I say is true or not.
Do not take my word for it. Investigate the matter for yourself,
because if what I teach you is actually true, then where you wind
up in eternity (in the paradise of Heaven, or the flames of Hell),
depends on what you did with Jesus Christ (receive Him as Savior
and Lord where He takes your sin away from you, or reject Him as
unneeded where your sin remains on you. In one case He is judged
for your sin, in the other case you are judged. And whereas He
also descended to Hell to pay the price for sin, He came back.
You will not. Nobody else will. Not even the angels or even the
greatest angel Lucifer).

We all need Jesus Christ. That is the claim. I give you my
personal testimony and witness that it is true, but the needs of
pursuing the truth must demand that you pursue it on your own.
You cannot take my word for it because I could be lying, or in
some way trying to deceive you. You must investigate for yourself
if what I say is true or not. There's a lot riding on it.

Thank you,
Rick C. Hodgin

I feel like every so often I should point out that every one of Rick's
horribly off-topic religious posts generates dozens and dozens of
responses. IGNORING THEM would result in many fewer off-topic posts
here. Yeah, in posting this I'm adding to the noise. But I'm sort of
hoping someone reading this might let his next religious post pass
without comment...

I say this as a committed Christian who is embarrassed by him.

As another such, I would ask that people simply add him to their
kill-files for a year or so, in the hope that he will eventually realise
that his abuse of the group is not acceptable and has bad consequences
for him. Then, when the year expires, give him another chance. Lather,
rinse, repeat...

I'm not embarrassed by him, just hoping he doesn't burn himself out
or paint himself into a corner.

Preaching is good. But even Jesus Himself didn't spend all his
time coming down on the scribes, Pharisees, lawyers, hypocrites,
etc. And he used a lot of approaches we currently describe as
"lateral thinking" in much of his preaching.

And testifying is good for the soul, as long as we are careful
about context (thinking about pearls in a context where they
will be confused with cattle feed, etc.).

I won't be able to convert anybody. That's not my job. I can only
teach people about Jesus, who He is, about sin, and about why we
need to be forgiven for sin. It is God who draws those who will be
saved from the inside. He draws them from within to come to Jesus,
repent of their sin, ask forgiveness, and be saved.

This message is only for those people who are being saved. It is
not for everyone. But, because I don't know who it is who will be
saved, the offer is extended to all.

(something weird)
rick is proffessional bulk spamer - i mean he spams not only this group but spams quite profesionally in massive/bulk way (just like ramine) - just spams massively whole list of groups with copies - if someone makes this
way offtopics in bulk massive way it means he
is just professional bulk spemmer, this means something

i previously thinked he offtops personally
but this is false he is full professional spammer - masive spam kind - it is sad and very bad - realize that - as a massive
automatic spamer he should be probably
treated same as ramine.. cut of totally and dont waste time on automatic trash that
mimicks normal 'carefull' messages (the difference is as normal users wrote normal carefull/individual messages both ramine
and hodgin idiot make this more like business
adversitments (in an area of mental trash)

czang is halfway he spams also many groups
in halfinbdividual way, it means he dont much care for discussion also liek just to flod
much more and quickly forgets tresh he floded

it is sad, but as rick proves he is massive spamer treat him as a massive business spamer
(just like ramine - they are like advertisments break in tv - waste people time for attention of product you dont really want to see)

very very bad

Here's a cue. It shows the true Christian heart, and the attitude of God
even to sinners in this world:

http://biblehub.com/kjv/1_timothy/2.htm

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge
of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man
Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Prayers for people. Prayers for our leaders. Prayers for peace.
Prayers that all people come to a knowledge of the truth, and are saved.

The Christians heart points people to the One who can save them, who
desires to save them, and who sends them messages continually to guide
them to that salvation.

What is it that prevents people from coming to Jesus Christ? It is
their love of sin, their desire to walk in darkness rather than light.

Sin is the enemy. Jesus is the cure. If you'd like to be saved and
live on in eternity, ask Jesus to save you. He will, if you are truly
and completely sincere in your asking (if you know you are a sinner,
and you want to repent, and you want to be forgiven for those things
you've done, He will know this, and all who come to Him sincerely
repenting and asking forgiveness are saved ... He turns none away who
truly come to Him with a sincere heart).

There are two aspects of sin. The first is the law, which points out
where we fall short of God's commands to us (not just the Ten
Commandments, but there are about 1600 laws in the law of Moses).

But moreso for people living post-Pentecost (after Jesus' death,
burial, and resurrection, and the giving of His Holy Spirit to men),
it is a higher standard:

http://biblehub.com/kjv/james/4-17.htm
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to
him it is sin.

In context, this refers to conviction by the Holy Spirit, about
reaching out to people to help them as you are prompted from within.
Post by a***@gmail.com
2) Build one pyramidal society
where in the top there are people
more blind than others
This is a very bad aspect of Satan's teaching. It places something
like the unlawful control of a society under the color of "religion"
so that the people's general fear of religion "keeps them in line."

It's not mean to be like that, and that type of government system has
no basis in Christianity or Judaism.

For each person, it is about their relationship with Jesus. Either
a person has none, or they have one they presume which is not proper,
or they have one they presume which is proper.

We will know which one each person has by their overall behavior,
their observable fruit of their thoughts, decisions, actions, etc.
The person serving the Lord in this world will not be interested in
power, prestige, ruling over people, but considers himself/herself
a servant among the other believers, each put there by God to help
one another in all areas of life (coming to faith as by initial
teaching, reaffirming that faith as by mutually guiding each other
away from Satan's misleadings and back to the true path of God, and
in real, physical, worldly needs such as meeting the basic needs of
our bodies, our families, etc.).

-----
Christianity is about Jesus Christ. It's about coming to the end
of yourself, of recognizing you are a sinner and you have no ability
to redeem yourself. Of recognizing sin is wrong, repenting of sin,
and coming to Jesus and asking forgiveness of sin.

When a person does this their sins are literally transferred away
from them in God's eternal sight, so that we have no sin any
longer in His sight. We are then alive again spiritually (born
again), which gives us a new understanding of things.

Jesus is our King. He is the one we seek after. We are not at all
interested in ruling over other people. We lock arms with them,
shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, and move forward to teach
others about Jesus Christ.

The one you refer to who tries to dominate others, or put them under
some type of religious constraint so that unless they do this, that,
or the other thing (as by religious rote) they are not doing as they
should, that teachings comes from Satan. Satan seeks to keep us
bound up in all manner of falseness, but it is God Himself who leads
us out of that falseness and into all truth, even to His Son Jesus,
who is Christ (Messiah, Savior).

Of course. It is a predominately Muslim region. The Muslim faith
is a false faith taught by Satan, and it teaches the exact opposite
of Christianity (even teaching that Jesus was only a prophet, and
not the Son of God virgin born):

Islam is wholly evil. The only reason there aren't more Muslim
killings is for the same reason there aren't more holy Christians:
people are apostate. They do not follow the true tenants of their

If people truly followed the requirements of their Muslim faith,
Sharia Law would be enforced, and people who refused to convert
to Islam would be killed.

Christianity teaches peace. It teaches that we are to teach people
and warn them, but that is it. We would rather die ourselves than
inflict harm upon others. We actually preach to those who are
killing us saying, "You can be forgiven. Turn away from your killings

You'll never find anyone like Christ. And for those who follow Him

It appears so because as the spirit we possess which animates our
physical body leaves our body, we look like we fall asleep. But
our existence continues on after death. We are alive, conscious,
aware of our surroundings, and we leave the constraints and confines
of this world, such that we are then no longer under restrictions
regarding those things we cannot know here on this planet in our
physical form.

Once we are in Heaven, we are summoned by name to appear before
God to give an account of our lives. All people who did not
accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are judged for what they
did. Those who accepted Him are not judged, but are given rewards
for what they did.

All of this is in the Bible. Don't rely upon what you hear from
other people. Read the Bible and seek the truth. If you do, you
will find it. That's a promise from God. I also testify that it
is true.

I have always thought of it as a sentient entity that is bound to a
vehicle, and given access to control some aspects of its nature. Imvvho,
the intelligent entity in charge cannot be destroyed (except by God).
However, the physical vehicle sure as heck can, we have the free will to
tell our bodies to jump right off a damn cliff! Think of entities that
are dealt a vehicle that have systems that are not working.

A lot of people are given a body that has many problems. Also, these
vehicles break down over time. So, death is simply leaving your crashed,
totally totaled vehicle for a new one. Iirc, we all have a new spiritual
body to go into, that can never break down over time because its infinite.

There better be life after death, God or not: Damn it!

We were made in God's image. He is God the Father, God the Son, God
the Holy Spirit. We are also soul, body, spirit.

Our soul is the true us. Our bodies are a physical presentation.
Our spirit connects our soul to our body and "quickens" it according
to scripture.

When Adam and Eve sinned, they disobeyed God. God had only one
punishment for any sin: eternal death in Hell. But, because we
are three-fold beings, and because this world is temporal, and
because God is eternal, and because we are eternal, our death was
immediate in eternity, but here in this temporal world we remain
alive for our time here.

There are two lives we possess (physical life, and spiritual life),
and potentially two deaths (physical death, and spiritual death).
We are born into this world alive in our flesh, but dead spiritually.
It's why one year olds are able to lie, get cancer, etc.

If we come to Jesus and acknowledge our sin, repent of our sin, ask
Him to forgiveness, He transfers our sin to Him at the cross (remember
that God is eternal, and He can reach across time and transfer the sin
of anybody past, present, and future), leaving us with His perfect
righteousness (sin-free). The moment this happens, we are restored to
spiritual life, and are "born again" spiritually, which changes us
here in this world.

If we are born twice here on this Earth (once physically, and the born
again nature of spiritual birth), we will only die once (physically).
We will enter into Heaven to be with God after we leave this world.
We will receive rewards for our service to Him, but will bypass
judgment because Jesus took our judgment in our place. It's His free
gift to us.

But if we are only born once here on this Earth (physically), we will
die twice (once physically, the second eternally in Hell).

We must ask Jesus to forgive us for our sin, because if we don't we
remain under condemnation, and our future is judgment, condemnation,
and to be cast headlong into the lake of fire from which there will
be no return ever.

It's why I post these messages. I don't want anyone to perish. I
try to be peaceful and teaching in my posts, and not respond to those
who mock me. I recognize the diversity between the flesh nature, and
the spirit nature, so I let those things go by. But my heart breaks
when I read some of the hateful posts given toward me in the various
forums. Not because of what is said to me, but because the sentiment
behind the person writing those things comes from a place of non-
repentance, and judgment, and the second death in Hell.

Human souls are precious. We each deserve to be taught this gospel
"good news" message so we can be saved. We are beautiful amazing
creations (all of us), and God came here to die in our place to set
us free from judgment and condemnation. He took on our punishment
in our place so we could be set free ... because He loves us. But,
we must come to Him acknowledging our sin, knowing it is wrong,
repenting, and asking forgiveness. Only then are we forgiven.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over
the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,

He is God the Father, God the Son, God
the Holy Spirit. We are also soul, body, spirit.
Regarding the spirit, it animates our flesh. We have our own spirit,
which is dead in sin for the unregenerated, but to be here in this
world God "loans" us a spirit that is withdrawn when we die in our
flesh:

http://biblehub.com/kjv/john/6-63.htm
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are
life.

http://biblehub.com/kjv/2_corinthians/3-6.htm
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not
of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but
the spirit giveth life.

There is a special nature of the words of God which are written in
the Bible. That nature is spirit nature, which goes into us in a way
different than other books written by man. His words are physically
on the page in the same way (ink, paper), but that which they convey
into us is spirit, and it is life.

http://biblehub.com/kjv/romans/4-17.htm
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,)
before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead,
and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

God has authority to do things man cannot. He moves in ways that have
been revealed in the Bible, but also in other ways which are miracles.

I don't think so. God said: Let us make man in our image.
God is communicating with other entities.
You have to see the root words in the original Hebrew, and see how those
words are used in the rest of the Bible, to realize what was meant:

http://biblehub.com/text/genesis/1-26.htm
http://biblehub.com/hebrew/strongs_6213.htm
http://biblehub.com/hebrew/strongs_6754.htm

God is uniquely identified as God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Spirit/Ghost. In various contexts, God refers to a component of
God's nature (Jesus talking about His Father, or about the Comforter/
Holy Ghost being sent after He returns to Heaven and sits down at the
right hand of the Father). In other contexts God is referred to as
one.

We won't understand the fullness of this relationship here on this
Earth because of our limited perspective here due to sin. But, on the
other side it will all be made clear:

http://biblehub.com/kjv/1_corinthians/13.htm
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am
known.

It's all there, Chris. It takes real study to understand it all, but
there's nothing lacking. In fact, it's an exhaustive and truly amazing
authority. I advise everyone to study it. It will reveal everything
about you, about God, about others, about sin, about the hereafter (as
much as we can legally know), etc.

In other contexts God is referred to as
one.

We (man) are the only being made in His image. Even the angels are not
crafted as we are. We are shown things they are not, even as they are
(today) shown things we have not yet been shown. But we are God's object.
He sent His Son to die for us. He did not come to redeem fallen angels,
but only fallen man.

Angels are God's servants:

I know Keith thinks I'm a troll. It's an incorrect summary judgment of
me based on an unexamined outward observation. The enemy works through
people like Keith to try to keep others away from coming to the truth.

If you have legitimate interests in knowing this information, do not let
anyone stop you in pursuing it. It is the cost of pursuing the truth...
you must pursue it fully, at all times, and without relenting.

Ask yourself if you serve Keith's desires, or if you are in pursuit of
the truth (even if Keith winds up being wrong in his summary assessment).

Death exists because of sin. Jesus takes our sin away. This restore
us to eternal life.

We were created in God's image. In His likeness. We are eternal
beings, but because of sin we are under God's wrath and judgment.
We are still alive here on the Earth, but our spirit is dead. This
leaves us hampered and hindered as God's creation, which is why
Satan is able to run this world ragged into all manner of death,
disease, hate, war, etc.

When Jesus takes our sin away, we are then alive again spiritually,
able to know the things we couldn't know previously which are
spiritually discerned.

This fundamentally changes us. We literally are born again into
the new existence, and we can never go back.

All people die, but not all people need fear death. All people die,
but those who were redeemed by Jesus Christ are restored to eternal
life, and go to be with God in His Kingdom of paradise forever (the
place called Heaven).

Middle-East remains a dangerous place. And every mortal must face
growing old and die. The problem is not death, but how you die. :)
People have a soul, a body, a spirit. Because of sin, our spirit is
dead, because the spirit is eternal life. We no longer have eternal
life because of sin. But, our soul remains, and our body is alive
here in this temporal world.

Growing old exists because of sin. Disease, death, these all exist
because of sin. There was no death before sin.

Jesus came to take our sin away, and restore us to eternal life.
We need not fear death any longer if we have been forgiven of our
sin. We will leave this world and be given a new body, one like
the angels that is young, diverse, strong, healthy, and able.

For those who don't know Jesus, death is a most fearful time. It
is that time when you will face God with your sin, be found guilty,
and cast into the lake of fire from which you will never return.

It's why this message is so important.

Thank you,
Rick C. Hodgin

PS - You post a lot of things that you think, such as "The problem
is not death, but how you die. :)" ... and these are of a mis-
guided and wrong foundation, and therefore they cause harm to
you and others who would read your words and "agree" with your
teaching in this area (it is a teaching, because you are stating
your beliefs for others to read and assimilate).

PS - You owe it to yourself to research the Bible and these things I
am teaching you. They lead you to the one who is life. They
lead you to life, and the restoration of life in your existence.
There are no more important things than this for each person,
because of our base nature (soul, body, spirit), and that which
comes after we leave this world. Either eternal life, or eternal
death. It is binary. Black and white. And it has to do entirely
with what you did with Jesus, and His free offer of salvation.

God provided for a way to maintain our youthful bodies in perfect
health before sin. It was the tree of life in the Garden of Eden.
When man sinned, God drove man out of the Garden of Eden to work
the ground He had cursed for their sake (to keep their idle hands
busy, so as to not grow complacency in the stead God had created
for them in the golden age of the Earth).

http://biblehub.com/kjv/genesis/3.htm

22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us,
to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and
take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden,
to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden
of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way,
to keep the way of the tree of life.

In this way, the man would grow old. He was not receive from the
tree of life the maintenance that his physical body required, and
received, from God, while he remained in his commandments (before
sin).

I am selling anything. I am teaching you the truth. If you are
willing to receive that information, it is before you, ready for
your inspection and consumption. So long as you hold on to pre-
conceived ideas taught by the enemy of this world, asserting within
yourself that they are correct and that Biblical teachings are
wrong, you will forever fence yourself off from the truth.

Seek to know the truth. Ask questions to have someone affirm and
confirm what they've claimed. Don't accuse the way you did above,
even going so far as to say that I "made up a story" until you have
first received all of the information about it. To do so is to
follow in the path the enemy of God has laid out for you, the one
of belief in pre-conceived ideas and notions which are wrong, the
one which asserts them ahead of truth because of his influence and
teaching, rather than the true teaching of God, through His Holy
Spirit, through His Son, and through all of the assets He has given
us to come to know the truth.

There is an enemy at work against you (against all of us). The way
to defeat that enemy is to seek the truth with a full effort, because
truth really does own everything. Falseness owns nothing except the
map to your soul's own death.

nor medicine, but MAGIC??
It is science. It's just science our "modern science" doesn't yet know,
because it involves God and therefore is summarily rejected by the enemy
who is the leader of all falseness in this world. But, as scientific
research into the study of DNA has completely removed Darwinian evolution
as any kind of possibly viable theory, showing that intelligent design
is, by far, the more likely candidate, in time all of the things God has
taught us will be revealed even through our own science to be true,
because the truth is fundamental, it speaks with one voice, and it does
own everything. Falseness can only endure until such time as the truth
speaks. Once the truth speaks, falseness always crumbles completely.

It's why Satan tries to keep people from coming to study the Bible. He
knows when they do truth will speak, and his lying house of wholly evil
teachings will be revealed for what they are: ongoing attacks by an
enemy of everything right, true, proper, and holy, for the purposes of
harming God, and destroying men's souls in Hell.

As for science, when I examine our DNA structure (the double-helix), it
looks very clear to me that there is room for another strand, perhaps a
governing entity which maintained or fixed up that which would otherwise
be lost through age without it, a part of God's design from the beginning
no doubt.

Loading Image...

We also see evidence that there was some degree of a chemical or some type
of environmental influence in the history of man as recorded in the Bible.
Before the flood people lived into their 800s and 900s. The oldest man was
Methuselah who was 969. But after the flood, people's ages began decreasing
rapidly until by the time of Abraham he only lived 175 years, and his wife
at the age of 90 was considered beyond child bearing years.

Something changed after the flood. A chemical previously present in the
food was lost, the removal of the water ice shield above the atmosphere,
something lost from the mist that used to flow up and water the whole
surface of the Earth ... something changed and we now live on this side
of that event, so we have no frame of reference for what it was like
before. But, the enemy knows.

Do you know there are reports from all over the Earth of giant skeletons
being found? Even men over 10 feet high regularly, with reports of some
16 feet, 20 feet, even up to 30 feet hight? This information has been
suppressed greatly, but if you research it there are documented recordings
in newspaper articles, textbooks, magazines, and so on. There are also
verbal legends of such large people. We see evidence of their size in
Egyptian drawings showing leaders being physically much larger in size,
though today that is thought only to represent a status, and not a real
size, but with other evidence which exists of larger fossils in ancient
history, larger plants, huge dinosaurs, etc., it seems at least possible.

There is so much that would lend observable credence to the Bible and
God's account of man. It's being deliberately suppressed so the lie of
the enemy can be the ongoing storyline being told. But even that lie
breaks down when exposed to our modern endeavors for finding things out,
such as the study of DNA exposing Darwinism to be false.

Jesus Christ is truth. If you want the truth, begin with Him. He will
lead you into all truth, as much as you can receive, in whatever station
in life you are (truth in science, truth in biology, truth in astronomy,
etc.). It's all from Him, for He is the fountain and wellspring of truth.

Thank you,
Rick C. Hodgin

Is there adverrtising on your site? (*)

(And, no, I have no intention of clicking on it to find out)

I was watching part of A Man Called Peter this morning, about Peter
Marshall, a famous pastor during the 1940s. He's giving his first
sermon at his new post in a famous church in Washington D.C.
There, he preaches on his bitter distaste of how so many people
believe that "religion" is peddled, sold, advertised to trap and
bind people as the many systems at work in this world do.

It's not like that. Christ is free to receive. Coming to complete
forgiveness is ours for the asking. We ask Him directly. No middle
man. No separation between us and God. We come to Him alone,
able to do so by what He did for us at the cross. He alone makes
salvation possible.

The scene begins at 48:40 in the movie:
A Man Called Peter

Available on Netflix. Or here for rental:

The concept of trying to make the Kingdom of God into something
like the perishing, fragile, and fleeting kingdoms of this world is not
a new concept. It is the same ploy wielded by an impotent enemy
whose only ability to possess power is to deceive people into
folliwing him rather than the truth. But all who seek the truth overcome
him, because Jesus already defeated that enemy at the cross. And
Jesus is truth (literally).

We now stand in victory, all who are His. The rest remain defeated,
deceived by Satan to even their own deaths in Hell, because they
would not listen to the truth, and embrace it.

The movie is a great and wonderful story. Another great part
is when the young woman gives her speech about women in
the 20th century (about 20 minutes in, the scene on the back
of a flatbed pickup).

Do watch the scene, and movie.

Oh snap!!!

I was so hoping it would be about the famous host of the (original)

Felt guilty receiving it at the time. It was the two people who donated
urging me to put up a donate button. I didn't have one previously.
It was less than $100 I received total, refunded promptly. They both
also asked why.

My projects require 5+ other developers. I would like to be

Investigate it. Pursue the real and true answer until it yields. Do not

There is nothing but death in Middle-East...
Of course. It is a predominately Muslim region. The Muslim faith

Wait... on re-reading I see he was not pushing the view of "People who don't

On that I stand corrected and owe him an apology. Thanks for pointing out my

And, Rick, my apology is sincere. I disagree with you strongly but you did
NOT suggest others should be killed for not converting.

Wait... on re-reading I see he was not pushing the view of "People
who don't convert are to be killed" but lying and saying all Muslims
have that view.
It's not a lie, "Snit." It is Islam:

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx

"...there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to balance
out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued
until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are
killed."

Killing everyone except Muslims, for disbelief in Islam is "worse
than killing," and Muslims are to fight people until there are
nothing but Muslims left:

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and
turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah
[disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing... but if they desist,
then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until
there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along
with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let
there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists,
and wrong-doers, etc.)" (Translation is from the Noble Quran)

Fighting is prescribed for Islam believers, and even against their
true God-given natural affections and love for their fellow man:

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike
it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for
you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah
knoweth, and ye know not."

Killing them or enslaving them into Mafia-like "protection money":

Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then
slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive
and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then
if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave
their way free to them."

And just read through the many other verses.

-----
Islam is the way of "believe or die" and is focused upon the flesh.

Christianity teaches that we are already spiritually dead in sin,
yet alive in our flesh. We are already on our way to Hell because
of Adam's sin, and our own sin, and that Jesus came to take our sin
away because He loves us and wants to redeem us, and that He will
take away the sin of everyone who comes to Him merely for the asking.

Jesus wants everyone to come to repentance. But there still remains
eternal damnation for those who will not accept His offer, because
they reject Him. And because Jesus is literal Truth, when a person
rejects Jesus they reject Truth, so that falseness, that lie, is
forever cast into Hell where it can have no influence upon God's
universe.

God is judging sin ... all sin. He is willing to forgive everyone
for what they've done. All anyone has to do is believe, and ask.

There are lots of people misrepresenting lots of religions all over
the Internet, as if they had nothing better to do. We should not
believe everything we read on a web site. (Even when we are, for
instance, reading our own blogs, I'd say. 8-*)

Personally, I find the Bible to be much more accessible scripture
than the Quran. Part of that is that I grew up with the Bible (and
another book or three of scripture, but that's even more off-topic
here).

Because I learned to read the scriptures for what they are,
incomplete records kept and passed down by inspired, but fallible
men and women, I can seek the truth to be found in them instead
of demanding that any one scripture or set of scriptures
completely and perfectly circumscribe all truth.

We who write programs understand the difficulty of attaching
semantics to symbols. We should understand, I think, that words
are inherently malleable. They can carry meaning, when used
appropriately, but they do not contain meaning.

As an example, if you use a constant called "BLACK" in the
wrong place in a program, it might actually cause a computer
screen to go white.

Because we deal with words and semantics, we should understand
the necessity of using words appropriately.

We should also understand the necessity of interpreting words
appropriately.

I'm sorry, Joel, but Islam is evil. There is no other way to present
that religion. The only reason there aren't more terrorist Muslims
is for the same reason there aren't more holy Christians: people are
apostate.

Muhammad married a six year old, consummated their marriage when she
was nine. Allah calls himself the chief of liars, and advocates
people lying to advance the Muslim agenda. If people refuse to
convert to Islam, they have a choice: be killed, or remain alive
and pay an ongoing fee for your life (like Mafia "protection money"
so nothing bad happens to you ... so long as you pay).

There is nothing redeeming about Islam. And because of the spiritual
nature of our battle in this world (mankind's battle against evil
spirit entities), those who are not born again and serving Jesus
Christ are like the people in the move The Matrix, the evil spirits
can rise up and act in any one of them at any time because they are
still slaves to sin, and dead in sin.

There is nothing comparable between Islam and Christianity. Jesus
came to save all people, and did so out of love, teaching us that
we are lost in sin, and that we cannot save ourselves. He came to
do what we could not do, rescuing us from our condition, and setting
us free to be with Him in eternity, redeemed despite our guilt.

I'm sorry if you can't handle the truth, Joel, but Islam is as evil
as it gets. It is a murderous band of terrorist that simply do not
rise up and act as a people because they are apostate and refuse,
even by their natural conscience and nature, to do those things their

if you deliberately let the liars and apostates
among them become a wall between you and them.
Well stated.

I thought all religions on this planet and in this world originated from
Middle-East. :)
Investigate it. Pursue the real and true answer until it yields. Do not
let assumption or preconception enter in. Seek out the full and whole
truth, because then you will know to the best of your ability.
There is nothing but death in Middle-East...
Of course. It is a predominately Muslim region. The Muslim faith
is a false faith taught by Satan, and it teaches the exact opposite
of Christianity (even teaching that Jesus was only a prophet, and
http://tinyurl.com/zzr8a5y
Islam is wholly evil. The only reason there aren't more Muslim
people are apostate. They do not follow the true tenants of their
faith.
If people truly followed the requirements of their Muslim faith,
Sharia Law would be enforced, and people who refused to convert
to Islam would be killed.
You don't understand Islam.
Islam is a reformed version of the Christianity of James the
brother of Jesus. It's just as closely related to the teachings
of Jesus as your theology is.
Not only does he make up stories about Islam, he knows little of the Bible,
refuses to click links which have quotes from the Bible, and now calls for
DEATH for those who do not share his worldview.

His religion (which is a version of Christianity, and not representative of
all Christians) is one of evil and support of violence.

It comes down to one thing for each of us who hear this message: Jesus
calls to us in a way we can understand and know. We know on the inside
His call is right and true, and He gives us free will to choose to answer
that call, or to ignore it. All who answer are saved and are restored
to eternal life. All who do not answer remain under condemnation because
of sin.

If you can hear His call, answer Him. He reaches out to save your soul
from judgment, and death.

Thank you,

I hope you will discuss C or C++ along the same intense and vigour you
are discussing Jesus. If C or C++ doesn't excite you then how about C#?

Jesus is fine once in a while but to go on and on becomes monotonous and
boring!!

I do. I am not as interested in C or C++ as I once was. I have found the
communities surrounding them to be rigid and inflexible in terms of some
new features being added. I have looked at C# and like it, but have no
plans to move to it. I do plan to support C# at some point in my RDC
(Rapid Development Compiler) framework, which is an engine supporting
the creation of new programming languages.

My focus right now is on CAlive. I plan to give every resource effort
I have to getting that product completed. However, it is in a queue
with other products, so they each get a portion of my time.

I find the words to this song more to my need of Him:

Chris Tomlin - Lord I Need You

"Lord I need you ... every hour I need you ... my one defense ...
my righteousness ... Oh God, how I need you ..."

I am weak, RT. He is strong. I have no vision. He has all vision.
I fail. He succeeds. I cannot stand on my own. He holds me in His
Hand.

To start C# compiler, you can download the source code from this link:

Microsoft has released the C# code to the open source community and so
anybody can see the code and suggest changes for the public to benefit
from these changes.

I was amazed Microsoft did that. Still am.

My goals with my RDC framework are to create a from scratch, ground-up
offering, which is given in honor of Jesus Christ, and not for other reasons.

He is worthy of all my effort, and I am pleased to do it. I want to honor
Him with the fruits of my life.

Microsoft did that because nobody would like to use any privative language to
write softwares on POSIX systems, specially for servers despite the support of
Microsoft wannabe such as Miguel DE ICAZA.

I'm still waiting for a fork soon or later to see Microsoft's reaction...

Did anybody fork Mono?
Are you saying that Mono does not include a fork of C#,
or implying that Mono itself is essentially owned by
Microsoft, and technically not a fork?

I don't the see the point to talk about a fork for a privative programming
language. My point is that C# is a closed programming language despite the fact
there is an open source implementation owned by its promoter (aka Microsoft).

Anyone who would really use C# as an open programming language for a non
Microsoft environment (POSIX systems for example), should fork Mono and makes a
schism from the Microsoft de facto standard.

Okay, looking at the home page of mono-project, I see that they now claim
Microsoft sponsorship.

I understand the sentiment, but I think it's a highly impractical idea.

Of course, I thought Mono was a highly impractical idea when they first
started out. Trying to duplicate the technology of a company which is
dedicated to making its stuff so complicated that only they can produce
and sell compatible stuff is an exercise in futility.

Which means that, if you did fork Mono, you'd soon end up either stuck
in a niche of history or sponsored by Microsoft. Futility or futility.
