That the tax cut boosts the economy is only true if you define "economy" as

Middle Class to Get 23% of Tax Cuts for Individuals Under GOP Bill
Benefits mostly peter out after a decade, joint committee on taxation finds
By Siobhan Hughes and
Shayndi Raice

Middle-income households will get $61 billion in tax cuts in 2019 under
the Republican tax plan poised for passage this week, according to an
analysis released late Monday by Congress’s Joint Committee on Taxation.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/the-left-is-wrong-the-tax-cuts-and-jobs-act-benefits-the-middle-class/article/2643870

This week, the House and Senate will vote on comprehensive, pro-growth,
pro-family tax reform. The legislation, known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs
Act, will give families and individuals across the country tax reduction
and simplification starting in 2018.

The legislation includes rate reduction and a doubling of the standard
deduction. Under this change, the first $12,000 for an individual and
$24,000 for a family will be tax-free. The standard deduction is already
used by 105 million taxpayers across the country, who will see a
significant tax reduction.

In addition, the plan doubles the child tax credit to $2,000, helping
millions of American families across the country. According to the most
recent IRS data, more than 22 million people used the child tax credit
in 2015.

While the bill is not perfect, it is indisputable that the Tax Cuts and
Jobs Act reduces taxes at every income level with the biggest benefits
being borne by the middle class.

The Republican tax reform bill begins to undo Obama’s legacy of higher taxes

Under Democrat control, Americans were hit with tax increases on the
ability of families to deduct medical expenses, tax increases on medical
devices and prescription medicines, and tax increases on health savings
accounts. The Left even imposed taxes on employer-provided and
individual health insurance, while imposing a tax for not purchasing
health insurance.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act begins to reverse this by repealing this tax
penalty, known as the individual mandate, granting additional tax relief
to low- and middle-income families by eliminating one of the most
regressive taxes in the code. In tax year 2015, 6,665,480 households
paid this tax. About 79 percent of these households had annual incomes
below $50,000, and 37 percent of households that paid this tax had
annual incomes below $25,000.

Republicans promised to unrig the complex code and reduce taxes for the
middle class. Through the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, they are delivering.
Under this legislation, families across the country will see strong tax
relief and simplification just as President Trump and congressional
leaders have promised.

How about deductions

He hates me 'cause I never slept with him...
He hates himself because he is all he has to sleep with
I don't know, sometimes he used to seem normal, then he went petty
trough vindictive and now I just shun contact. I have enough crazies to
deal with in my world without encouraging those who refuse to take their
meds.
For the record, I never once even considered sleeping with you. And
you know that. You're the one who somehow got the idea that I was
going to move in with you - and you posted that to RFC just out of the
total blue.

After having met you twice at casual austin.food gatherings 2 or 3
years ago and not giving you any indication that there was any sort of
romantic interest in the least, you somehow twisted that into MY
MOVING IN WITH YOU?

That was just way too Psycho for me. I sat there at stared at the
screen for at least 15 minutes wondering, WTF? That was just way too
spooky. I've met weird, semi-psycho women before but you win, hands
down. Mapi of austin.general still holds the male title, but at least
he announced his psychosis right there lying on the floor of the bar
at B.D. Reilly's rather than romantically obsessing over me for 2
years.

Needless to say, you need to come to terms with what happened and why
your mind works that way and stop making up excuses for your fixation
and disappointment before we become the next Yoli and Michael. I'd
prefer you use a sniper rifle on me from a few hundred yards away.
There you go - a reason for you to buy yet another gun and ammo.

And Jeremy, I was just tired of your decade of bullshit and visions of
grandeur about all these things you're "working on" or have not done
in the past. Even posting a call for meetings with imaginary people
about imaginary projects of yours at "the normal time and place", as
if you are somebody important with a life. I'm pretty sure you're
manic depressive mixed with habitual liar.

Sorry I don't fit either of your Ideal Psycho Pal Profiles.

to low- and middle-income families by eliminating one of the most
regressive taxes in the code.

It would have been cheaper in both lives and money to just suffer

Report Calls Out 15 Fortune 500 Companies for Paying No Taxes

By Dan Weil | Wednesday, 15 Apr 2015 06:20 AM

As corporate earnings season begins in earnest, the advocacy group
Citizens for Tax Justice has released a report detailing 15 Fortune 500
companies that don't pay any taxes.

The list includes CBS, General Electric, Interpublic Group, JetBlue
Airways, Mattel, Owens Corning, PG&E, Pepco Holdings, Priceline.com,
Prudential Financial, Qualcomm, Ryder System, Time Warner, Weyerhaeuser
and Xerox.

As a whole, the 15 companies paid no federal income tax on $23 billion
in profits in 2014, and they paid almost no federal income tax on $107
billion in profits during the past five years. All but two received
federal tax rebates in 2014, and almost all paid exceedingly low rates
over five years.

Wrong! Somalia has multiple unlimited governments, running people's lives and
fighting each other. That is what happens when the anarchists get their wish,
the biggest bully on the block takes over and imposes his will on everybody he

He never said "at gunpoint" you sick, diseased leftard.

And no person is ever compelled "at gunpoint" to accept private charity
either, period.

You consistently support bit, unlimited government.
Where did I ever say "unlimited"? I have consistantly upheld
Constitutional government. I simply see some functions (for the People)
are better served by a government of the People than in private hands. I
advocate a government by the People - not a federation of private,
dictatorial fiefdoms.
Iow you prefer marxism, so noted.
Those countries
are prime examples of what happens when government has no limits.
There are lots of countries in the world with the higher taxes and
more government power you seem to crave. Why do you not move to one of
them? Even Canada has higher taxes and restrictions on free speech.
And there are countries with the fewer taxes and less power than the US,
which you continually advocate. Why don't you move to one of them?
You're the asshole who needs to GO and I mean GO NOW!
Frankly, "America, love it or leave it" fell flat in the 60's, why do you

Your claim may be arguable but the fact remains that the constitution

merely arguable but rather a fact.
Nope.

Samuel Chase (April 17, 1741 – June 19, 1811) was an Associate Justice

that hardly changes the fact that they do indeed exist. You may
personally think that certain governmental powers "should not exist" but
there is no reason to doubt that they do exist.

the property was in his power. The punishment was for deception, not for failure
to give it all.
So when did nutless turn into a scriptural wag?

The only reason he hacked up that OT hairball was to use it against YOU.

And I'm guessing you haven't sold any land off...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ananias_and_Sapphira

As told at the beginning of Acts chapter 5 Ananias and Sapphira,
following Barnabas' example, also sold their land but secretly withheld
a portion of the proceeds. Ananias presented his donation to Peter.
Peter replied, "Why is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you
have lied to the Holy Spirit?" Peter pointed out that Ananias was in
control of the money and could give or keep it as he saw fit, but had
withheld a portion of it. Peter stated that Ananias had lied not to men,
but to God. Ananias died on the spot and was carried out. Everyone who
heard about the incident feared the Lord. Three hours after Ananias'
death his wife arrived, unaware of what had happened. Peter asked her
the price of the land that she and Ananias had sold, and she stated the
same untruthful price that Ananias had given. She also fell dead.

Private charities meddle in the lives of their recipients -
that charity comes with strings attached.
As do government charities. But private charities are voluntary
on the part of both giver and recipient. Nobody is forced into
them.
Do elucidate us about those government charities that people are
forced into at gunpoint.
The "contributors" are forced into every one of them at gunpoint.
Don't pay your taxes and they come after you. And even child
recipients can be forced into them if the all-knowing government
claims parents are not fit.
You suppose Ananias and Sapphira had a choice? Their tax was 100%
and their penalty was death.
They did have a choice. Have you actually read that in the Bible or do
you just swallow what others say about that passage? Peter
specifically told Ananias that the property was in his power. The
punishment was for deception, not for failure to give it all.
I predicted you would say that. They wouldn't have felt they had to lie
about it if they actually had a choice.
The TRUTH is ALWAYS a choice, nutless.
Oh, and I've read the bible cover to cover, and studied far more about
religion than even some preachers.
Yet your soul is as black as obsidian.
This is just one of several such stories and really is about compulsory
morality - which is hardly different than compulsory taxation.
You're fucking insane!

Conflation is your lifestyle, ya moron.

You're a sick, racist, mentally disturbed old heart patient who pimped
himself out as a slumlord!

But first your heart is spasming again, innit?

Better take your nitroglycerin pills, bypass boy, your arteries are
clogging up again...

Really stupid, even for you. At that time, being a Christian was not only voluntary,
it was dangerous. They clearly had a choice.
He has learned nothing from his 'extensive' scriptural studies...wotta
surprise!

Furthermore he said what you SAID was stupid, not YOU!

You're so fucking stupid you can't even tell the difference!

Likewise the Mafia.
How much longer can you survive as a KNOWN Portlandia traitor?

I'm always reminded of YOUR very *special personal sentiments* regarding
the tragic terror attacks of 911, Bill:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bill Shatzer wrote:

And over 4,000 Americans have paid with their lives for that little
adventure. Plus a half a trillion dollars in national treasure
You might compare that with the number of lives lost on 9-11. Or the
economic injury incurred from that event.

It would have been cheaper in both lives and money to just suffer
another 9-11 every six or seven years.

Peace and justice,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think we can ALL do well to reflect on what kind of sick sociopath
would come up with those words in honor of 911...

Oh and let's add in your death threat against the President:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Anyone else notice the similarities between Trump's attacks on the
"lying media" and "fake news" and the Nazi smear campaign against the
"Lugenpresse"?

You can, as they say, look it up.

This man must be stopped - peacefully if possible, otherwise if necessary.
