A Davis Cup tennis encounter in Glasgow ended up today
with Andy Murray beating the US no 1, to give GB team
victory (first since 1930s).

He won his opening game too, the surprise third victory
was James Ward (15-13 in 3rd set).

For the love of Christ! How can people watch two grown men belting a
yellow ball back 'n forth all day. Not very productive is it?

Slow news day for you?

Coincidentally, the next round of the competition has just
finished, and Andy Murray together with his brother Jamie
were instrumental in beating France (last season's finalists).
Andy and Jamie won the doubles match.

Next round is semi-final against Australia;
no reason why Murrays et al couldn't win the cup,
now that Switzerland is out.
