November 12, 1948 - April 2, 2018

Elkhorn, WI -- Laura S. Roslof, 69, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Elkhorn. She was born November 12, 1948 in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of the late Edward and Hildegard (Vilser) Miller. Laura was united in marriage to James P. Roslof on April 25, 1968 in Aptos, CA. James preceded in death after 42 years of marriage, on March 19, 2011. Laura owned and operated Roslof Design Studio, which specialized in stained glass work. She had a beautiful and unique free spirit. Laura was very gifted in the arts, working in any media from clay to acrylics to culinary to fabric. She was trained in the sciences, but always profited from her artistic skills. Laura’s work was exhibited in the Art Institute of Chicago in 1960’s, and throughout Chicago and San Francisco. She considered herself to be well versed as a nutritionist, culinary chef, seamstress, and, most importantly, an artist.

Laura is survived by her three loving children: Krista Roslof of Milwaukee, WI, Jessica (Adam) Berge and Matthew Roslof, both of Elkhorn, WI; four grandchildren: Braden and Tanner Berge and Maxwell and Morgan Baber; and one brother, Charles “Bud” (Pamela) Miller of Red Wing, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Memorial service will be 6 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI 53121. Visitation from 5 p.m. until service time Monday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Laura’s name to Feeding America, 35 E. Wacker Drive, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60601, or Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, 1700 W. Fond du Lac Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53205. Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com.
