From what I have read on the OST, an encrypted cookie is stored in the OST
which helps the profile match up with the OST to enable outlook to open it.
If we know the data structure(?), then possibly we can use a hex editor to
replace that area of the ost with the values from the new ost? Just a
thought or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Or
Is it possible to reset the registry entries to enable the OST recovery?
