Post by HRM ResidentPost by jvangurpPost by l***@fl.itPost by jvangurpThere... 14 hours of highway done today. Some glad to be flaked out on the couch!
At least you don't have to go to work tomorrow :)
It sure puts a different slant on things :-)
A positive slant! No more trying to navigate multi-dimensions of
mismanagement by paper pushing bureaucrats in Ottawa who don't even know
where Nova Scotia is.
It's all behind you now. Enjoy your retirement, and I wish you
many years of it. :-)

Thanks pal! I'm settling into a nice routine of picking away at a to-do list and the most wonderful things about it is that nothing seems rushed. I can take my time doing stuff and if I feel the urge, I can just put it off :-) Today was a leisurely early morning run with some friends followed by car cleaning, nice and slow with a podcast in the earbuds. This afternoon I'll tidy up my garage a bit. Maybe watch a movie with the wife tonight. Not a worry or care in the world. It is indeed a wonderful thing to be free of the BS of office life... when I popped in on my official last day I saw stress and tired faces. I feel pretty darn lucky to be done with it in good health etc.
Cheers!!! Happy thanksgiving!
