It seems like the baby boomers , middle aged Greeks, are
leaving the large cities, Athens etc and moving back
to their small town, rural roots. They love it and have
no desire to move back to "the city". They asked
several of them what they missed most about city life and
they all said "Nothing" They are starting their own businesses

One interview with a man and his wife, who use to sell
luxury cars...the man said he could not believe he was
saying this ,since Greece "invited democracy" but the politicians
do not give a shit about "the people" and he said he might
prefer a "dictator". He was dead serious and crying as he
said it ,but they are so mistrustful and discouraged by
voting for assholes ,who only fuck them over, that a
dictator, may be preferable.

I would venture to say the Russian people have a benign
dictator and they prefer him to folks who want to run
for that office.
We have a 2 party system, but I consider Pres
Trump an "independent" who sneaked in on the
Republican ticket

Voters must accept responsibility in a democracy.
But when you only have 2 choices, is that really
a democracy?

Join groups to have more choices. Lobby. Write. Start a competing political party. Resist. revolt.

Voters must accept responsibility in a democracy.
So voters bear no responsibility for Trump being appointed, what with
the fact that the USA is not a democracy?
