It seems that, as far as Trump is concerned, he is above the law, as long
as he is President. He can commit any crime while he's in office (I wonder
if that includes treason). He's always believed that he could shoot someone
in plain sight of witnesses and not get arrested. So maybe his international
mess-ups are deliberate. Maybe he wants the situations to be so bad that he'll
put off the next election. He may be stupid but he's wiley and he has Pence working for him. Then again, maybe he'd better watch his steps with Pence.

Sounds like a bad novel.

That's the problem with democracy: sometimes the voters insist on
returning candidates into office that are utterly unsuitable or
unacceptable to others.

It happens time and again in countries that have been "liberated" (Iraq,
Egypt) or have been offered to express a popular mandate for the first
time. And then we shake our heads and wonder how this could happen.
But why should it be any different in mature democracies?

Did you have Balam Obama in mind? He is the candidate whom certain voters returned to office while they knew he was an Indonesian and he had changed his name overtime from Barry Soetoro to Balam Obama born in Kenya.

if that includes treason). He's always believed that he could shoot someone
in plain sight of witnesses and not get arrested. So maybe his
international mess-ups are deliberate. Maybe he wants the situations to be > >>bad that he'll put off the next election. He may be stupid but he's wiley
and he has Pence working for him. Then again, maybe he'd better watch his
steps with Pence.
Sounds like a bad novel.
Gawd, I wish I could have seen your face the morning after the Nov. 2016 election.
LOL
I doubt anyone could see his face. He was probably retching into the
toilet.
She. And that was exactly how I felt.
That's the problem with democracy: sometimes the voters insist on
returning candidates into office that are utterly unsuitable or
unacceptable to others.
Did you have Balam Obama in mind? He is the candidate whom certain voters returned to office while they knew he was an Indonesian and he had changed his name overtime from Barry Soetoro to Balam Obama born in Kenya.
Never fails to amaze me that people who voted for Trump are so easy to
spot. Tin foil hats are a dead giveaway.
Never fails to amaze me that people who predicted there was NO WAY Trump would become President are so easy to spot.

Their tin foil hats and positions in the media are SO easy to spot.

It seems that, as far as Trump is concerned, he is above the law, as long
as he is President. He can commit any crime while he's in office (I wonder
if that includes treason). He's always believed that he could shoot someone
in plain sight of witnesses and not get arrested.

To be fair, I don't think Cody has the right to vote in the USA. He's an
immigrant from Africa, and I don't know if he's a true citizen of the USA.

Besides, he hates Obama simply because he thought Obama would give
blacks immigrants a free ride : citizenship, free healthcare and
generous welfare. Cody was sadly mistaken...

It happens time and again in countries that have been "liberated" (Iraq,
Egypt) or have been offered to express a popular mandate for the first
time. And then we shake our heads and wonder how this could happen.
But why should it be any different in mature democracies?

Only his 'base' and the Russians. Pence is as big a crook as Trump. He
hid whole bunches of stuff when he was governor. I wonder if the info
is available yet. Maybe he's as afraid of the end of his term as Veep
as Trump is of the end of his term of office.

Only after the Dems take over Congress in 2019 so the Dem Speaker of

You are thinking about shooting the President and the Vice-President.

I hope the Secret Service is watching this group.

How will he legally put off the next election?
Would be dictators have a habit of calling themselves President, cancelling the next election and staying in the President's job from then on. They take over the government. What planet have you been living on?

Not "excommunicated." Jews wouldn't use that term.

See:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herem_(censure)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baruch_Spinoza#Expulsion_from_the_Jewish_community

https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/herem/

Any "exile" from Amsterdam didn't stick. Spinoza came back.

People raised in Judaism might want to comment on whether a Jew
whose congregation had issued herem against him couldn't just
join another one: a strict Orthodox Jew joining a Conservative
or Reform synagogue, for example, where his "heretical" beliefs
would be accepted.

The Constitution doesn't not allow an election to be cancelled or delayed.
If push came to shove, Trump's stupidity would be enough. Of course, it
would lead to automatic impeachment, if Congress still has the guts.

Being dictator is not that a bad thing. Cincinnatus was appointed second dictator by the Roman SENATE on account of his love for his nation. The emissaries found him plowing his field then they broke the NEWS to him.
Nowadays, people talk about dictators with negativity. Ignorance is now bliss.

"dictator" has acquired since the sixth century BCE. Then, the Romans
had Cincinnatus; now we have the likes of Hitler and any number of
geriatric tyrants in Africa.
I just don't give a damn about the devious meaning you gave the word in the course of history. I stick to the original intent of the one who coined it.
Do I have that right to diversify?
You're using a definition that has been out of date for 2,600 years. Do you

How will he legally put off the next election?
Would be dictators have a habit of calling themselves President, cancelling the next election and staying in the President's job from then on. They take over the government. What planet have you been living on?
Being dictator is not that a bad thing. Cincinnatus was appointed second dictator by the Roman SENATE on account of his love for his nation. The emissaries found him plowing his field then they broke the NEWS to him.
Nowadays, people talk about dictators with negativity. Ignorance is now bliss.

Happens all the time. for instance: Religious people have invented
"religious truth" to describe a "truth" that isn't necessarily true,
just beyond their ability to question it.

Yes, international mess ups. Our closest allies -Great Britain, France,
Germany, Canada and Mexico are not thrilled with the US right now, and
this is all Trump's fault. Of course, you are one of Trump's idiot base.

Considering that the only reason Trump was elected was due to Gerrymandering
watching him carry out his Master's (Putin's) orders makes me sick to my stomach.

Besides, Trump isn't kicking anyone's ass. All our one time allies have been

It seems that, as far as Trump is concerned, he is above the law, as long
as he is President. He can commit any crime while he's in office (I wonder
if that includes treason). He's always believed that he could shoot someone
in plain sight of witnesses and not get arrested.
lol! Did you miss the fact that he's being investigated by a special counsel?
