Hello,
On a new ThinkPad (X280) with an SSD drive after loggin in as root and
typing 'setup' the following warning is displayed:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
NO EFI SYSTEM PARTITION DETECTED
This machine appears to be using EFI/UEFI, but no EFI System Partition
was found. You'll need to make an EFI System Partition in order
to boot from the hard drive. To do this, leave 'setup' and use 'cgdisk'
to make a 100MB partion of type EF00.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is this necessary? Can it be ignored?
Normally I install the bootloaded on MBR with LILO.
Many thanks for any advise.
