Is everyone happy with those definitions?
There are some shining examples of those definitions residing in
this NG's archive.
And no-one, inclosing Mr Reay, has disputed these definitions. So, now
lets start examining conduct;
Characteristics of a Stalker
/Waiting at the victims workplace, home or neighborhood/
I don't know that this has occurred, but I know that it did when I lived
elsewhere. Reay's friend Hilsden was convicted of this.
/Persistent phone calls, text messages, emails, letters or notes/
I think the archives are clear on this point.
/The sending of gifts from the seemingly romantic (i.e. flowers/
/and-or chocolates) to the bizarre/
I could describe some of the "gifts" I haver received, but most of them
are of lesser quality than that my own cat produces.
/Breaking into the victims home or car/
My car has been broken into twice - same MO both times
/Gathering information on the victim:/
Reay's dossier...
/contacting people who know the victim;/
Reay claims to have contacted the journalist who he alleges wrote the
newspaper report he claims is me - the newspaper report that no-one but
him can find from primary sources.
Reay also claims to have been in contact with people involved in a legal
case, showing a photograph and he claims this is to identify someone
using a false name.
/searching public or personal records, even the dustbin, for
information./
Reay claims to have gone to the British Library to find the original
newspaper report - again, no-one else can find it, and Reay won't tell us
where it is, nor produce a copy.
Reay has also gone trawling around the internet for information about
someone he claims is me, and links me to several differnt people, several
different (and inconsistent) news reports; he claims that the newspaper
report about the animal abuse case is me, yet that report makes it clear
that the individual had no criminal record - yet he claims I'm also the
person involved in the previous remort who was imprisoned for 42 months
for sexual offences.
He also fails to explain how, if I am restricted by the SOPO that he has
also never produced, I can be online here.
Strangely, he *hasn't* ever contacted the magistrates court where hilsden
was convicted, to confirm the details of the case. I wonder why not,
given his prurient interest in court cases involving sex offenders?
/Defamation of character:/
Undoubtedly - mostly by innuendo, but comments like "your pervert friend"
and "false and malicious" would seem to confirm this.
Certainly his feeble attmpts to link me to the Cardiff Indigo case are
defametory of Mr Wilkie, a person who he claims is me.
/the stalker will lie to others about the victim, trying to limit their/
/options and weaken their support network. In an attempt to isolate the/
/victim, making them appear more vulnerable, and giving the stalker a/
/sense of power and control./
There is no doubt this has occurred, so many times that it need not be
itemised. Reay only tells fucking lies, as others have pointed out.
/Objectification: the stalker derogates the victim, thus reducing/
/them to an object which allows the stalker to feel angry with them/
/without experiencing empathy. It helps the stalker feel they are/
/entitled to behave as they please toward the victim./
Reay does this to everyone, but comments such as "the usual rejects"
exemplify.
/Viewing her/him as lesser, weak or otherwise seriously flawed can/
/support delusions that the victim needs to be rescued, or punished,/
/by the stalker./
Fairly clear that hoping "the stone of the law falls on him" would show
this intention, yet Reay isn't prepaed to got to law, only continue his
abuse here.
/Cyberstalking: using the internet to pursue, harass or contact another/
/in an unsolicited fashion./
Again the archives.
So... based on the definitions of stalking, and the conduct of Reay, when
does his conduct cross the line? He says it doesn't, but shows no lawful
excuse for his conduct...
