The fire I'd kept burning since December 28th 2017
burned out today (February 5th).I'd checked on it
this morning, pushed things together, saw they were
burning, but didn't check back until afternoon and
found it had burned out.

(Any fire that won't burn out if left unattended
should never be left unattended,of course).

You haven’t left your home since December? That is kooky.

I think Louis had one going for much longer. What's your record, Louis?

Any time I have left the fire,it has been in a condition that it would
burn out if I didn't come back in time...as happened today.

Hi Louis, I'm not certain I understand why this is newsworthy.
However for perspective the earliest date we started burning our
woodstove was October 7th, my mothers's birthday. It never went out
until early April of the following year, so it burned a little over 6
months.

We burn over 6 cords of firewood each season since 1977.

Cheers.

If only he’d burned to death in the fire the Post would’ve been appropriate.

Yeabut, what about the celebrity part? Well, upon further thought, Louis is
quite good at what he does and that's more than most current celebs can say.

Homegrown wood or purchased?
(I live in a forest,basically...what dies,we can have cut up).
4 fireplaces in the house but only one seeing regular use now.
