I have a need to create a retaining clip for a USB cable. Most likely
out of Spring Steel, not sure, I am not a mechanical engineer. I am
looking for a company that can help with the design phase and the
fabrication of this part.

Thanks

Some type of molded nylon would probably be better for that application.
Won't cut into the cable with vibration, cheap, and the mount can be about
whatever you want.

You can't 'idiot proof' anything....every time you try, they just make
better idiots.

The USB cables are made outta plastic. The clip should also be for ease of
manufacturing etc....

I dont know what the thing looks like but if spring steel then you pobably
will need a resin that has a *elasticity and memory* to it.

I'm coming off my 70 hour weeks so if you want to FAX or email me the clip
I'll help you out. I have some other things to do for some on here but at
least I can take a look at it if you want.

Email me if you're inclined.
