But that was quite a satisfying episode in terms of story arc, although
I think we could have done without the piteous sound effects.

Who was Ben? Were there 2 cats, Bill and Ben?
How old was he? Is the driver going to turn out to be Toby and so
seal his fate as Pip's ex? Oh no! I just heard who it was.
The family cat we had went to stay with my mum when she had mice, and
then after she went into a home and I moved into a flat, it went to
our friends, who moved to Bolton with it. It lived until age 21 and B
went up to be with it when the vet came to put it to sleep, because it
was no longer coping or enjoying life.
It had been a much-loved and pampered moggie, living with two male
partners. They had it cremated and the ashes put in an urn, which sat
on the mantle in front of its photo. First one partner and then the
second died and he left me Laura, in the urn, in his will. I am still
trying to get one of the daughters to say if they want it :).
I am not sure how the cremations are handled at the vet's, but wonder
whether more than one is done at a time and how they distinguish the
ashes of one from another.....
