Yes, that Richard Pryor looking guy
was somewhat interesting and being drunk
he drooled rather than spoke words
thinking I looked like Mark Twain or Gene Wilder,
as I sat watching it all go by on Broadway, at midnight.

He mentioned Kentucky, was bourbon on the mind?
North oats, was sour mash on the mind? Carolina,
where his family worked on crab boats,
then Tom Hanks was on my mind, though his dream
was shrimp.

Politics reared its ugly head, drunk or sober it’s all the talk,
though quiet I was, being entertained, while playing the straight white guy,
thinking, possibly, my Einstein hairdo might just have been the candle
to this drunken moth.

His stumble into me, brought it to a close,
my coffee wetting the same sidewalk he wandered off on…
and from the other end a hooker chick approached,
she too, in shambles offering a down and dirty for five bucks
but saved, I was, a chilly breeze whispered, go home now.

I wanted dark this night and wasn't let down.

No, there is no comparison with a troll using the name of a dead person
and a man posting respectful and concerned news items.
Even a fool such as you knows that.
Well, in case anyone doesn't understand or doubts what this lowlife scumbag
troll is trying to do here...

The person (nobody knows except the troll if the poster is a boy or a girl,
btw) using the moniker "***@gmail.com" is obviously referencing
Sydne Conder, who was killed in her 1994 Chevrolet Metro =
"***@gmail.com":

http://accidentdatacenter.com/us/alabama/columbus-ga/phenix-city/15/08/13/sydne-conder-59-killed-and-george-sulzbach-wounded-2-vehicle-wreck-us-highway-431-north-phenix-city

Accident Date: Thursday, August 13, 2015

1 dead, 1 injured in 2-vehicle wreck in Lee County

A two-vehicle wreck on Thursday claimed the life of a Smiths Station woman,
and left another person injured, according to Alabama State Troopers. Sydne
Conder, 59, was killed when the 1994 Chevrolet Metro she was driving
collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette. Conder, who was not wearing a seat
belt at the time of the accident, was pronounced dead at the scene. A
passenger in the Metro was transported to a local hospital with unspecified
injuries. The crash occurred on U.S. Highway 431, approximately four miles
north of Phenix City at the 120 mile marker.

And that's the name of that tune...

I know there was a thread where we discussed the weather here yesterday?
A poem by Jimmy named "Blizzard" I think?
Anyway, the smoke is hanging heavy here this morning, a result of a wild
fire out in Fort Benning to the south and east, and another over in Smith
Station Alabama, bear where George Sulzbach used to live...
All of which was sucked into the Chattahoochee Valley last night, gassing
us with heavy, irritating smoke. At least I feel the burning in my eyes
and nose today, and saw on the morning news that the sir here is being
deemed "Unhealthy", officially, by the weather man.
I'll go look for that other thread now.
😂
Perhaps?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bet that's the one, Jimmy... also, I may have posted most of my thoughts
on the heavy smoke that was choking us here last night on the other group I
Smoke got really bad here last night, blowing over from Fort Benning so I
heard, and found out after being out in it all night that it had been
deemed "unhealthy ' officially by the local TV news.
My eyes are burning and I have a little wheeze but otherwise I seem mostly
OK this morning.
Have many people evacuated? Seems horrible on a level. Be safe!
- nate

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't heard of anything like that, but it wouldn't surprise me... the
weatherman on the morning news said folks should stay indoors, but that's
not usually possible, considering the number of street people and homeless
folks living in camps along the river have nothing but tents, if that.

And so it goes...

Damn, you don't even live here, yet you keep chiming in like some armchair
stalker.
Yes, it happened just as I wrote it, and in fact wrote most if this as it
happened.
Columbus GA has a huge homeless population living on the River Walk just
two blocks west of Broadway, and these folks do come out at night looking
for... Something.
Broadway is not only college kids but also an "entertainment" district
with bars, hotels, and yes, even a coffee shop, most of which was closed
at the hour and night I was writing this, I think it was the slow night of
Monday, maybe Tuesday.
There's an endless parade of these types of folks wandering all over town,
as are probably in most cities, downtown Columbus having a particularly
large one in camps along the Chattahoochee River.
But since you are just an stalker obsessed with "Will Dockery", you'd have
no real way of knowing what the streets here are like after Midnight.
Another possibility for where some of these particular type of people come
from is, I suspect, the Ralston Towers just a couple of blocks over, on
2nd Avenue. This is a hotel for various "disturbed" and otherwise
handicapped and retired folks, including recovering
addicts and so on.
Basically, to sum up, you know zero, jack shit, about this area of what I
encounter here.
😀
This Ralston House sounds intriguing...

Like I wrote earlier, many of us have figured you out long ago.

This is a poetry forum, and Will posts his poetry here.
If you don't like it, don't read it.

If you don't like his videos, don't click on them.

No harm done.

Your personal attack on him and George, otoh, are harmful. Using the names
of their deceased loved ones is a vile and vicious act and it poisons the
atmosphere for everyone here (the "far superior poets" as well, whoever they
may be).

Since the others here have chosen to include you as a member of this group,
I am forced into the role of peacemaker in hope that a civil environment can
somehow be reestablished.

As a member, you need to be mature enough to accept the presence and
participation of others you may not like.

Returning your username to Dink or GG or whatever it normally is would be
the first step in the right direction.
Clearing out the leftover Drafts in my Eternal September newsreader, and am
getting these posts out before I refresh the disc.

This one from Michael to the troll(s) seems work another read.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

If you really believed that Will was a pathetic, no-talent loser, would you
consider it right to belittle him?

That would be analogous to laughing at someone who was mentally challenged,
or a paraplegic, or dying of cancer ...

Only the most self-loathing, little p.o.s. would laugh at someone they felt
was in some way inferior to them.

And, giving you the benefit of the doubt (assuming, that is, that you don't
consider yourself lower than a pimple on Will's backside), one can only
conclude that your repeated attacks stem from personal jealousy.

Of course, I could be mistaken, and you could really be a self-loathing,
little p.o.s.

If you figure out which conclusion is most applicable, please let us know.

Yes. According to his and Will's posts, he was homeless for most of the Fall, and appeared to be suffering from the DT's (attacking Will and his brother with a lead pipe for no apparent reason). He's currently staying with some relatives and is *hopefully* limiting himself to controlled amounts.
Not having any cash helps, strange or bad as that sounds.

G.J. has food stamps, and partakes of the free breakfast at First Baptist Church and the soup line at Salvation Army, so he has been well fed, you just can't buy beer and cigarettes with food stamps.

And, after spending the summer on the Riverwalk benches, G.J. apparently has taken a bus back down to Florida to spend the holidays with hs brother.
I believe him. And I see no reason for him to lie about it. Whiskey fits his image as the bluesy, rock 'n' roll barroom-singer/poet laureate of "Shadowville."
His being a teetotaler is downright incongruent.
And just a little over a month and I'll hit the ten year milestone, not a drop of booze in a decade.
