I watched:

THE AVENGERS:
"Touch of Brimstone". A modern day Hellfire Club, led by libertine John
Cleverly Cartney, plans to incite chaos by killing three foreign Prime
Ministers. Oooh, it's that ep with Mrs. Peal dressed as the "Queen of
Sin"!

THE AVENGERS:
"What the Butler Saw". Steed and Mrs. Peel investigate high-ranking
officers suspected of passing top-level security information. OK, this
ep had all sorts of awesomeness to it. In the teaser, the bad guy in
this ep called his butler, who brought him the gun on a fancy
silver platter with which he shot his disobediant hench. A couple
scenes featured some upper level people using their version of the
"Cone of Silence", a large plastic bag with a zipper. I liked how at
the end, Steed was like "Gee, the butler REALLY did it!".

CHARLIE'S ANGELS:
"Angel Trap". The head of a World War II intelligence unit requests
protection after several of his comrades are assassinated.

STUPIDGIRL:
"Make It Reign". Supergirl learns the true depth of Serena's nefarious
plans for Earth. Supergirl, Mon-El and Alura must devise a plan to stop
her before Serena gets to Earth. J'onn prepares to say goodbye to his
father. This ep was so good, they played it again!

WKRP IN CINCINNATI:
"Daydreams". Carlson practices his convention speech on his staffers,
who find refuge from his boring bombast in daydreams, except for
Baily's, whose daydream was cut for commercials.

What did you watch?

I watched:

Defying Gravity last five episodes

After seeing Anim8r mention that the episodes had come out that made
me want to go watch them (remember I like to complete series) so I
found them and watched the last five episodes where we see the crew
find out their real mission. Which creates all sorts of drama as the
crew of the Antares mission has various reactions to the existence of
Beta and it's role in their being chosen for the mission.

Drama is pretty much the sole purpose of these episodes. We know it
isn't science based fiction given the apparent gravity that exists
throughout the ship. They could have easily set this up in some remote
unreachable location on Earth and told the same sort of story. Sort of
like that show that went into the Amazon. With that show claiming a
supernatural aspect while this one is claiming an alien/religious
aspect (with the one astronaut claiming the beings are from God/the
Devil depending on whether they help/hurt her.) Of course there's also
the way that everyone seems to have a romantic connection with others
in the program.

Hmm, reading through what was planned for additional seasons I'm sort
of glad there were none. It's not a bad story that Parriot planned on
telling but it is a drawn out tale that ends up rebooting all that we
would have watched.

I didn't like it, but I'm also a completest...is it online only or
available through one of the traditional streaming services?

Stalked by My Doctor: Patient's Revenge - Already covered. I really
liked this one. They are just having pure campy fun at this point.
Eric Roberts is clearly having fun chewing the scenery. “Why did you do
this? Wait, did I do this?”

Elementary - "Sober Companions" - This season's Big Bad makes himself
known to team Holmes but thanks to TV logic no one can touch him. Still
pretty good episode.

The Humanity Bureau (Netflix rental) - Low budget sci fi flick staring
Nicolas Cage (if it stars Nicolas Cage, do I also need to say it's low
budget?) as an agent in the "Humanity Bureau." Set in a dystopian
future, his job is to evaluate people's contribution to society. If
they don't contribute enough they are shipped off to "New Eden." It
wasn't that good. If it stars Nicolas Cage, do I also need to say it
wasn't that good? But as low budget dystopian sci-fi movies staring
Nicolas Cage go, it was more or less watchable.

The Incredibles IMAX double feature (theatrical) - The first Incredibles
movie which continues to be awesome and was even better in IMAX. I'm
not sure if I ever really noticed before but the score is excellent. I
was really able to notice it with the extra loud IMAX sound system
blasting it. The sequel picks up immediately where the first one ends
and focuses on efforts to start a media campaign to legalize heroes.
Elastigirl is chosen as the face of the campaign while Mr. Incredible is
left to take care of the baby. It's a worthy sequel and must watch for
any fan of the original.

I don't know if it is available through any of the streaming services.
It was apparently available on Hulu for a few months but then it was
removed. I went for a quick and dirty solution by delving into the
dark web.

What did you watch?
Six (recorded) - "Critical", the second season premiere. I basically
watched this to see if this got any better in its second season, and to
determine if I wanted to stick with it. The answer is that I might, but
probably won't, as it did *not* improve between seasons.
FTR, Rip *does* appear in this episode, but I think this is it for
Walton Goggins, and I don't expect to see him anymore after this one...
The show introduces Olivia Munn, whose Gina character is pretty much
a straight-up ripoff of "SEAL Team's" Mandy (Jessica Pare), except
she's much less nice than Mandy, and she has an "adversarial"
relationship (so far) with the team.
Most everything else is that same, including the annoying "family"
side-stories with Brianne Davis and Nadine Velazquez.
There's a new "Big Bad" that they'll be hunting in season #2, and
Gina and the rest look like they'll be using season #1's Big Bad,
Michael, to get to him.
Meh.
As rough as "SEAL Team" has been, I still find it a lot better than
this show...

Taken (recorded) - "Imperium" (ep. #2.12). This was a weak episode, so
weak that the 'A' storyline with Bryan Mills isn't even worth recapping
(except to note that NASCAR dude Ryan Blaney shows up as an FBI agent
who drives a fast Mustang...). The 'B' storyline with Killroy and
Christina was much more interesting - Killroy discovers that his
"unhackable" computer system he built for Christina has indeed been
hacked!... And it looks like Brittany Allen's character from the
previous episode was behind it. This storyline wasn't totally resolved
by episode's end, so I'm even further convinced that we'll see Allen's
character onscreen again before this season is over...

Recorded for later: Lots! - The Expanse(!), The Originals, Reverie, and
Code Black.

of "kill"?" - M-OC, "A Perilous Rescue" (ep. #2.9), LSW:TFA (08-10-2017)

Which was such a ridiculous scene.

MILLS: I'll need a fast car.

FBI GUY: We have an agent who just finished a deep cover assignment.

<Mustang suddenly comes roaring around the corner and screeches to a
halt right in front of them.>

DRIVER: Did someone order a blatant product placement?

(And was that guy just sitting there on the other side of the building,
engine idling, waiting for a radio cue to hit the gas and make a
dramatic entrance? Did the FBI crew actually take time out from their
crime fighting to set up and organize a dramatic entrance for Mills'
benefit?)

What did you watch?
On Wednesday June 13. the day I spilt a lot of tea. % the 13th is a day I
hate as my heart attack in 1989 occurred on a 13th, I watched:

C.B.STRIKE: 1x7 Career of Evil (2)
End of season, tho epguides.com divides it into 3 seasons without titles.
I don't know if there will be another season,
with J.K.Rowling writing more stories under her real name.
I hope so, tho I fear not.
Grade A

SUPERGIRL: Make It Reign
I didn't care for it much, but I don't hate the show like other posters.
Grade C

Andrew Denton's Interview: Rebecca Sharrock (& her mother); Janice Lorraine
Becky has HSAM (Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory) "one of 60 in the
world". There was IMO a very convincing demo at the beginning of the
interview. She also has Autism, Panic Attacks & other disorders in addition
to her Total Recall.
Janice is a body builder, & is now aged 75

NCIS:LA: Ninguna Salida
Mexican story, & being a season final, has a TBC in which all main cast
members should have been killed (LOL)
Grade C-

It's one season of three serials adapted of the three novels J.K. Rowlings
has written. epguides got it wrong, especially by failing to tell us
which episodes were adapted from which novel.

Gosh; I'm glad you recovered.
It was bad at the time,
especially as I was given medication that caused almost complete kidney
failure (which occurs in 1 in 10000).
However, later I was told by a cardiologist:
if you have a heart attack this is the one to have.
IOW trivial damage, which however continues to show on ECGs.

Yes, the Wiki page makes it sound like any additional future episodes
of this are unlikely.

On my end, I've gotten through the first two episodes of the first

Cinemax this weekend.

I thought this was an absolutely *terrible* season finale! I *roasted*
it when I reviewed it. (I wish Icebreaker were around - he would have
hated this finale too!!)

Anyway, in my review, I said that I might actually drop this show, if
they bring Nia Long's Mosley back as a regular in season #10 - this
"finale" absolutely destroyed her character, and I *despise* her now!!

What did you watch?
THE EXPANSE / 3x10 / Dandelion Sky

[Holden sees past, present, and future. A ghost from Melba's past
threatens her mission. Bobbie struggles to trust an old friend as she
leads a group into uncharted territory.]

Well, that was trippy. I'm pretty sure that David Lynch guest-directed a
couple of minutes' worth of this one. Overall, it drifted hard from its
sci-fi roots and that's not a good thing for this show. I'm also not
thrilled that the Roci team continues to be separated, with no signs
that that's going to be changing anytime soon. And with Holden off on
his own, the problem is getting worse, not better.

Grade: B

REVERIE / 1x03 / No More Mr. Nice Guy

[A family man robs banks in his Reverie and Mara must uncover the deeper
reasons why. Mara’s derealizations put her life in danger.]

Not only does it still not make sense why Mara is the 2.0 person, but it
also makes no sense why others are so impressed to meet her. Did I miss
something? Because I'm still under the impression that she came to the
team as essentially a hostage negotiator, which makes her a liberal arts
major surrounded by brilliant tech types who shouldn't be fawning over
her like that.

Oh, well. As for this outing itself, the Coma of the Week was pretty
corny and included a classic example of a false sense of urgency. For
the most part, there was nothing there that we didn't already see in the
first two episodes of the series. Things ended on a positive note,
though, with a lot of THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR stuff as it relates to Mara
and her attempts to confront her demons. Still, this was overall another
episode of another network show that refuses to go full-on skiffy,
opting instead to include a lot of rehashed drama elements stolen from
cop and doctor shows and the like.

And back to the bigger picture front, given that enough people are (more
or less) getting addicted to their reveries to justify hiring Mara in
the first place, you'd think that the Onira-Tech folks would put a hold
on the whole thing until they could add the necessary code that would
allow the company to pull people out of their reveries when the
situation calls for it and the people in question are not exiting the
program voluntarily.

Grade: B-

ARCHER / 9x08 / Danger Island: A Discovery

[Archer and the gang enter a deadly temple in search of an even deadlier
treasure.]

The final two minutes were the best part of this one and had nothing to
do with the rest of the season whatsoever. That's probably not a good
sign. Other than that, fart jokes and a lot of goddammits serve as yet
another reminder of how far this show has fallen.

Grade: C+

It's annoying that she's just ignoring doctor's orders. Does she think

REVERIE / 1x03 / No More Mr. Nice Guy
[A family man robs banks in his Reverie and Mara must uncover the deeper
reasons why. Mara¹s derealizations put her life in danger.]
Yep. Although I guess she *is* saving their phony baloney jobs.
For now. But she's doing everything she can to mess things up, so just
give it time.

Oh, well. As for this outing itself, the Coma of the Week was pretty
corny and included a classic example of a false sense of urgency. For
the most part, there was nothing there that we didn't already see in the
first two episodes of the series. Things ended on a positive note,

I'm convinced that she's in a reverie of her own.

but if it was there, I missed it.

If this season had been the first season, it would have been a
three-and-done for me. Apparently next season may be the show's last; if
so, I hope that it improves a ton so that it can go out as something
remotely approaching its former glory days because this season was just
plain awful.

Yeah, if they're getting to the point where courts are entertaining
lawsuits against them because of adverse health effects, you'd think
there'd be some kind of government regulation disallowing use on people
until it's proven safe.

The latest outing was an improvement, IMO. The introduction of some
interesting back matter was welcome and the cast seems to be starting to
gel a bit. And I liked OCD Dude and was rooting for him to get the girl.
Mohinder still drives me up the wall, but he's not around much, fortunately.

Alexis is cute, as well. And the single mom from the latest outing was
attractive, too. Someone has good taste on the casting front.
