The ultimate filth of an atheist.
The pukester, KKKatholikkk Bigot.
On what do you base that statement? You've no
idea on how this person was raised or what he
beleived. Christian people do far, far more
harm to other humans than any atheist ever
could. Theists are responsible for all the
suffering and death there has ever been or
will be.

Oh, Earl has this bogus idea that anyone who
commits a murder can't be a Christian, therefore,
by an application of glaring illogic, they must be an atheist.

I give an example -- one of many -- where the Pope's
army, commanded by the Pope's own legate, slaughtered
20,000 people in order to be sure they got the heretics.

Of course, given that all I have is historical fact and logic,
Earl won't accept that.

33,000 people killed by guns in this country in 2016,
excluding suicides. Kind of odd, given that Earl
thinks there are hardly any actual atheists here.

Earl has always been: If I don't like it, it didn't happen.
But, his biggie has always been that if someone does something
terrible, he must be an atheist. When he gets called on that,
he posts a list of monsters who may or may not be atheists,
but who committed their crimes for personal gain, not atheism,
religion or philosophy.

Not "must be", but absolutely is in direction violation of the commandment of
God to love and obey God and love your neighbor as you love yourself.

I never said what he did was right. I never said he was a recipient of eternal
salvation. Nobody knows. It's reasonable to assume that this did happen. The
story is one of the Church taking on Christian heresy, and killing the innocent
standing by the side of the heretic.

Remember, if you claimed to be a Catholic in those days and take the position
you do today, you too would be killed for heresy. And it wasn't in the USofA
either and long ago.

Beg pardon? You're saying that the slaughter at Béziers didn't happen?
Or that it wasn't actually the army raised by "Innocent" the Third who
committed the slaughter? Or that those soldiers weren't "really" Catholics?
Or that the Papal Legate who led the campaign wasn't an actual Catholic?

Or are you merely saying that it's fine to kill anyone who doesn't
go along with official Church beliefs?

You think anybody blesses him for opening firing with machine guns, killing 59
and injuring over 500 others?

Christians are not Christians because they carry ID cards. People become
Christians by taking an oath of Baptism in belief in Jesus Christ - who calls us
to love and obey God and love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

Do you really believe he loves all those he killed in cold blood? What kind of
animal are you?

Did someone give you lessons in applied obliviousness? Those

All I did saynwas simply that in declaring the asshole to be an atheist
you divide the world into either Christian or atheist.

Thus I corrected you by pointing out the the majority of people in
the world are neither.

What you proceeded to make of that has exactly zero to do
with what I said.

Do you sit around and practice totally missing the point?
I didn't miss the point. You're the one doing that. Until shown otherwise, he
opened fire on 22,000 people with total hatred.

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
The pukester, KKKatholikkk Bigot.
On what do you base that statement? You've no idea on how this
person was raised or what he beleived.
Nope, sorry. A Christian by definition follows Jesus' commands to
love and serve God and loving your neighbor as you love yourself.
He's an atheist burning in hell now.
And thus do we see the depth of Duke's "thinking" -- either you're a
Christian or an atheist. No other possibilities.
Four billion people beg to differ.

Did someone give you lessons in applied obliviousness? Those last three
paragraphs of yours appear to be from a different universe than the one
I'm writing from.
All I did saynwas simply that in declaring the asshole to be an atheist
you divide the world into either Christian or atheist.
Thus I corrected you by pointing out the the majority of people in the
world are neither.
What you proceeded to make of that has exactly zero to do with what I
said.
When Duke cannot answer he changes the subject and bloviates at length.

That's exactly true. The point that you missed is that is the prohibition is of
"works of the LAW", which is the torah of the Jewish OT.

James 2:26New International Version (NIV)
26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Mat 25:31-46, James 2:26

Clothe the naked.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been
doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to

Matthew 16:27New International Version (NIV)
27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels,
and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Ephesians 2:8-10New International Version (NIV)
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which
God prepared in advance for us to do.

Except if God doesn't want you to be saved, right?
No, you're wrong again, little one.

Confessing with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in the heart
that God raised him from the dead are the results, not the cause, of being
regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

Only the chosen elect are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

See how easy it is for you to be wrong all the time?
--
The unregenerate non-elect will always believe what another unregenerate
non-elect says, whereas the regenerate chosen elect will intrinsically
recognize what the unregenerate non-elect says as a lie. Therefore those
who were predestined for Hell, will still end up in Hell, and those who
are predestined for Heaven are still going to go to Heaven. Nothing in
God's plan will change. For by convincing other unregenerate non-elects
to believe his lies, he is fulfilling that part of God's plan that God
has predestined just for him.

Or, as the Gospel of John very concisely puts it:
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the
door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.
But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the
gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep
by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he
goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A
stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do
not know the voice of strangers."

Only as defined by Jesus. BTW, the restriction is on "works of the LAW".
James 2:26 says your faith is dead without deeds.
James 2:14–26 is sometimes taken out of context in an attempt to create
a works-based system of righteousness, but that is contrary to many
other passages of Scripture. James is not saying that our works make us
righteous before God, but that real saving faith is demonstrated by good
works. Works are not the cause of salvation; works are the evidence of
salvation. Faith in Christ always results in good works. It's not
something you feel forced into doing in order to be saved. The person
who claims to be a Christian but lives in willful disobedience to Christ
has a false or dead faith and is not saved. Paul basically says the same
thing in 1 Corinthians 6:9–10. James contrasts two different types of
faith—true faith that saves and false faith that is dead.

Your faith is false and is dead.

Christianity is a faith-based religion.

You are not a Christian.

An article I read suggests that she's a very stubborn person,
and that the same stubbornness that allowed her to hold steadfast
through house arrest and everything she went through is now making her
resist rebukes from outsiders.
But not condemning genocide....
It appears that she has no control over the army and that crossing them
would result in her downfall from office.
Sooooooo, she lost the courage she had for all those years in house arrest?

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
The pukester, KKKatholikkk Bigot.
On what do you base that statement? You've no idea on how this
person was raised or what he beleived. Christian people do far,
far more harm to other humans than any atheist ever could.
Theists are responsible for all the suffering and death there has
ever been or will be.
Not so. Muslims bump off plenty and even Hindu vegans
occasionally have their little massacres (but contrary to the law
of the Old West,
never eat what they kill).
And in Myanmar (formerly Burma), Buddhists are currently doing the
same.

That's possible. Also possible, and I haven't looked
into this, is that she may dislike Muslims. Like everyone
else in her country who isn't a Muslim does.

The armed forces could put her and her followers back
where they were any day they choose to, and what good
would that be to anybody?

And she may have been discouraged by the conviction
of Dave Lee Travis for indecent assault.

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
“Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius -
Kill them all for the Lord knoweth them that are His”

Often rendered as "Kill them all and let God sort them out".

Uttered by the Abbot of Citeaux, Arnaud Amalric, who
commanded the army sent by Pope "Innocent" III
to eliminate the Cathars.

True to the Papal legate's word, the Pope's army
fell on the town of Béziers and slaughtered its 20,000 inhabitants.

Must have been the work of that "filthy atheist" Pope
and his "filthy atheist" Abbot of a commander and
their "filthy atheist" Papal army.

They were heretics in war..
War? What "war"? You don't even know the history of your
own church.

There was no war. Your Pope "Innocent" [sic] III sent
out an army to exterminate the Cathars. No one was
at war.

And why did the commander say "Kill them all and let
God sort them out"? Because there were both Catholics
and Cathars in the city, and he was being asked how the
soldiers could tell the good guys from the "bad" ones.

(where "bad" means "believing something we don't
want you to believe")

The Abbot replied that they were to kill everybody,
because God would know which was which after
everyone -- men, women, and children -- were dead.

By your claim about Christians and murderers, your
Pope, his Legate, and his entire army were filthy murdering atheists.

Oh, you "knew for sure" that the asswipe in Las Vegas was an atheist,
because he murdered people. Therefore by this "reasoning" of yours,
so was the Pope and his army.

Or maybe you were simply wrong by declaring the jerkoff to be an
atheist, when if fact you have absolutely no knowledge about

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
The above is the result of a Christian upbringing. All Earl knows is
hatred, bigotry and ignorance. He doesn't even know what religion the
killer belonged to. He could have been Roman Catholic like Earl says
he is.
...making bold ass, bigoted, unfounded claims is typical of theists.
They'll go to any lengths to denigrate atheists whom they perceive are
a direct threat to their religious delusions.

What's so funny here is how perfect an example of what
Earl keeps demanding we prove -- that he lies. "on the ng".

You declare the man to be an atheist, and you don't have
any way at all of knowing what he believed or did not believe.
He could be one of those 15 or 20 percent of Americans who
just don't care one way or the other. He could be an agnostic.
He could be someone for whom the question wasn't important.
He could be a convert to Hinduism. He could be a New Ager.
You have no idea -- nor, at this point, does anyone else.

And yet you firmly declare him to be an atheist. Another day, another lie from Earl.

Not that you care.

He was a gambler, and gamblers are notoriously superstitious.
Does that make him a New Ager, a follower of astrology and

You declare the man to be an atheist
I'm expressing my obvious conclusions based on the situation that was presented.
You don't know what "to judge" means.

Now he's an atheist - period - a cold blooded killer. He demonstrated that.
You, on the other hand, are an agnostic. There's a lot of love in your heart
which would never allow you to do what he did even thought you profess you are
unsure of God's existence. You are no atheist. His cold blooded murdering
leaves no doubt about his.

Not me. I'm not at all offended by your existence. I welcome it.

Your existence adds confirmation to my salvation.

I would explain it to you, but I already know you would never understand it.

The fact that we are polar opposites apart, in the grand scheme of things,
is all you need to know. Right/wrong, good/evil, yin/yang, Heaven/Hell.
It's all woven into the very fabric of the Universe. There's no escaping it.
Are you starting to get the picture? (Probably not.)

Anyway, I really mean it when I say thank you for being here.

recognize what the unregenerate non-elect says as a lie. Therefore those
who were predestined for Hell, will still end up in Hell, and those who

If I were still a Christian, i'd suggest you needed a dose of Luke 18:11
He then addressed this parable to those who were convinced of their
own righteousness and despised everyone else. “Two people went up to the
temple area to pray; one was a Pharisee and the other was a tax collector.
The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself, ‘O God,
I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity—greedy, dishonest,
adulterous—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week, and I
pay tithes on my whole income.’ But the tax collector stood off at
a distance and would not even raise his eyes to heaven but beat his breast
and prayed, ‘O God, be merciful to me a sinner.’ I tell you, the latter
went home justified, not the former; for everyone who exalts himself will
be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Now, Duncan may give you a disquisition on election v salvation by
faith and/or works, and I think any of those explanations are bunk.
But his babble is telling him not to set himself above others,
which he clearly does when he trumpets his (unevidenced) election.

So you admit then that you were wrong about your first allegation.

Apology accepted.

You can find the answer to your second allegation at 1 Peter 3:15.

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
The above is the result of a Christian upbringing. All Earl knows is
hatred, bigotry and ignorance. He doesn't even know what religion the
killer belonged to. He could have been Roman Catholic like Earl says

...making bold ass, bigoted, unfounded claims is typical of theists.
They'll go to any lengths to denigrate atheists whom they perceive are
a direct threat to their religious delusions.
They are offended by our very existence.

I almost didn't reply because replying to Duke's hatred can be seen as using a tragedy to put out more hate, although I here I am trying to do the opposite.

Duke, you omit Timothy McVeigh, raised Roman Catholic. Here is a portion of a Time magazine interview with McVeigh:

"Time: Are you religious?

McVeigh: I was raised Catholic. I was confirmed Catholic (received the sacrament of confirmation). Through my military years, I sort of lost touch with the religion. I never really picked it up, however I do maintain core beliefs.

Time: Do you believe in God?

McVeigh: I do believe in a God, yes. But that's as far as I want to discuss. If I get too detailed on some things that are personal like that, it gives people an easier way [to] alienate themselves from me and that's all they are looking for now.

And Duke, isn't Vladimir Putin a Russian Orthodox believer?

The ultimate filth of an atheist.
Ever see that movie "Clocking Off". Where a respectable businessman is driven berserk by a series of insults and frustrations? Or, in a milder key, "Clockwise".

I think most of these spree killers are like that, only on a slower burn.

They have a build up of undirected anger. At first they find some release in fantasy, which they then reinforce with a gun collection. And, in a minority of cases, the fantasy becomes reality. (I think it's perfectly safe for 95% of Americans to have automatic weapons, but it's the 5% that want to own them).

In the US it used to be called "Going Postal" because postal workers seemed particularly prone.

You don't need easy access to guns to go this way, but it certainly helps.
