I thought Bottas also passed Ocon but I'm probably wrong.

For me Monaco's not about the Sunday but instead all about Thursday and
Saturday. The track's more about driver and less about car than any other
track. I like to look at drivers times (and take into account bad luck in
qualifying etc. as well as which chassis is going well) to get a true
indication of who's the better drivers each year - ad who can keep it out of
the walls.

I was pleased to see Sirotkin doing well (until Williams fucked it up for
him on race day) as I've always felt that he could be a good driver at this
level given half a chance. Also Hartley was faster than Gasly for all
sessions except qualifying when Hartley had terrible luck. I like the
current qualifying format but it doesn't take much to ruin a drivers chances
in a session. One baulk here and and a yellow flag there and it's good night
nurse.

The track takes real balls to take at speed and I wasn't surpised to hear
Stroll sounding traumatised again this year on the radio. Monaco makes me
wonder for a second year running whose dream it is he's trying to live....
Then towards the end after a pit stop he put in the (then) fastest lap of
the race!

I felt sorry for LeClerc. He's a guy who likes to keep his head down but
Liberty media machine pushed him to the forefront all weekend. He really
shouldn't have been pushing so hard when his brakes went as the team had
already told him that there was a major issue with the brakes and they
didn't think it would get to the end of the race.

Valtteri did move ahead of Esteban on lap 23, but that was the
lap Ocon pitted.

I agree with all of the above.

Cheers. I forgot to mention Ocon! He did very well - the fact that he
finished 6th but had virtually zero air-time shows (or doesn't show as the
case may be) just how far ahead of 'the rest' he was on the day. An
excellent performance from a young driver who, given the chance has a big
future in F1 IMO.
